Products and conditions

What products does AAD Logistics supply?

We supply new shipping containers from 6ft mini to 40ft high cube, used 20ft and 40ft containers, a 12ft storage container, 20ft container garages, portable offices, portable cabins, ablution blocks and crib rooms. Custom and modified units are available on quotation.

What is the difference between a new and a used container?

A new container has made a single trip from the factory and is free of prior cargo use, dents and repairs. A used container has worked in shipping service and shows surface marks, dents and possibly repairs, but has been inspected and is sold as Wind and Watertight.

What does Wind and Watertight mean?

Wind and Watertight means the container has been inspected and found to keep out wind and water, with sound doors, seals, floor and roof. It is a storage grade, not a shipping grade. We do not sell used containers as Cargo Worthy.

What sizes are available?

New containers come in 6ft mini, 8ft, 10ft, 10ft high cube, 20ft, 20ft high cube, 40ft and 40ft high cube, with double door and open side variants in the 20ft and 40ft ranges. Used containers are available in 20ft, 40ft and 40ft high cube.

What are the external dimensions of a standard container?

A 20ft container measures approximately 6.06 by 2.44 by 2.59 m externally, and a 40ft container approximately 12.19 by 2.44 by 2.59 m. High cube units are roughly 2.90 m tall. Exact figures for a specific unit are listed on its product page.

What is a high cube container?

A high cube container is roughly 0.30 m taller than a standard unit, at about 2.90 m external height. The extra height suits taller storage, workshop use and conversions where internal ceiling height matters.

What is the difference between double door and open side containers?

A double door container has cargo doors at both ends, so it can be loaded from either end or used as a drive-through. An open side container has full-length doors along one side, giving access to the entire interior at once.

Can I choose the colour of my container?

Yes. New containers are offered in a selection of RAL colours, typically between two and six per product. Used containers are also available with a RAL colour choice. Colour is selected when you configure the product before adding it to the cart.

What portable buildings do you offer?

We offer seven portable office configurations including a double office, two portable cabins measuring 7.00 by 3.00 m, three ablution blocks and two crib rooms. Offices and cabins can be fitted with kitchens, toilets and showers depending on the model.

Pricing and GST

Are your prices inclusive of GST?

Yes. Every price on this website is in Australian dollars and includes 10% GST. The tax invoice you receive shows the GST component separately.

Is delivery included in the product price?

No. Delivery is charged separately at AUD 745 per unit including GST within our standard service area. Outside that area, delivery requires confirmation and is quoted.

Do prices change for multiple units?

Multi-unit orders are best handled through the quotation path, where our sales team can price the units and the combined transport together. Use the request a quote drawer to start.

Will I receive a tax invoice?

Yes. A tax invoice is issued for every order and includes our business details, the GST component and the bank details for payment.

Ordering and payment

How do I place an order?

Choose a product, configure the colour, add it to your cart, enter your delivery details and complete checkout. If you chose bank transfer, you then receive a tax invoice with bank transfer details. If you chose card, we review the order and email a tax invoice with a secure card payment link. Alternatively, request a quote and accept the formal quotation.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept bank transfer, and credit or debit card. For card, choose it at checkout and place the order without entering card details; we review the order and email a tax invoice with a secure card payment link. We never take card details by email or phone. We do not accept cash or finance arrangements through the website.

When does my order start being prepared?

Preparation begins once our accounting team confirms that your bank transfer has arrived or your card payment has been completed. Processing then takes 1 to 3 business days before delivery is scheduled.

Can I cancel or change my order after paying?

Contact us as soon as possible. Changes before processing begins are usually straightforward. Once a unit has been prepared or transport booked, changes may attract costs, and modified units cannot be cancelled without charge.

Can I pick up my container from the depot?

Contact our team to discuss collection from 4 Milton Cct, Port Macquarie. You will need suitable transport and the depot will confirm loading arrangements and times.

Delivery and site access

Where do you deliver?

We deliver Australia-wide, to every state and territory, and coordinate deliveries into the wider Oceania region on quotation. Our delivery page covers equipment, access and timing in detail.

How long does delivery take?

Delivery typically takes 4 to 7 business days after processing, which itself takes 1 to 3 business days from confirmed payment. Remote and interstate deliveries may take longer, and we confirm a window before dispatch.

What type of truck will deliver my container?

Depending on the unit and your site, we use a tilt tray, side loader, Hiab, crane truck, flatbed or semi trailer. We select the equipment during processing based on the access information you provide.

How much space does the truck need?

A tilt tray typically needs a straight run of roughly 2.5 times the container length behind the placement point and overhead clearance that typically exceeds 4.5 m. Side loaders need clear space along one side of the truck. Confirm your site’s specifics with our team before delivery.

Do I need to prepare the ground?

The placement point should be firm and level, and the route from the road firm enough for a heavy truck. Many customers set the container on concrete blocks or sleepers to keep it level and off the ground.

Can you deliver on a Sunday or public holiday?

Only by prior arrangement and at an additional charge. We are normally closed on Sundays and public holidays, so please raise this before ordering.

What happens if the truck cannot access my site?

If safe delivery is not possible, the unit returns to the depot and a second delivery attempt is charged. Sending photos or a short video of the access route before booking helps avoid this.

Customisation

Can you modify a container for me?

Yes. We fit personnel doors, windows, electrical and lighting, insulation, air conditioning, shelving, lockboxes, flooring, internal lining, partitions, plumbing, toilets, showers and custom colours. See our custom solutions page.

How does a custom order work?

You request a quote and send us a brief, sketch or photos. We issue a quotation, confirm the design with you, take a deposit as quoted, complete the build and then deliver. Lead time is confirmed on the quotation.

Can a modified container be returned?

No. Change-of-mind returns apply only to eligible new, unmodified products. Custom and modified units are built to your specification and are not eligible for return, although your warranty and Australian Consumer Law rights still apply.

Warranty and returns

What warranty do you provide?

New products carry an 18-month warranty. Used products carry a 6-month limited warranty. Both are provided in writing with your order and operate alongside your rights under Australian Consumer Law.

Can I return a container if I change my mind?

Change-of-mind returns are accepted within 18 days on eligible new, unmodified products. You are responsible for return transport, and the unit must be in the condition it was delivered in. Used and modified products are not eligible for change-of-mind returns.

Do you offer exchanges?

No. We do not operate an exchange program. If a unit is eligible for return, we process the return and you place a new order for the replacement product.

What should I do if my container arrives damaged?

Inspect the unit with the driver, note any damage on the delivery paperwork and photograph it before signing. Then contact us with the photos and your order number so we can respond promptly.

Quotes and support

How do I request a quote?

Use the request a quote drawer on any page, or email sales@aadlogisitcsau.com. Include the product, quantity, delivery address and any site access notes so we can price accurately.

How quickly will I hear back?

We respond during business hours: Monday to Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM and Saturday 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Custom work and remote delivery quotes may take longer to price because we confirm transport and build details before replying.

Can I visit the depot?
