Intellectual Property Policy

Overview

This policy explains who owns the material on https://aadlogisitcsau.com, what you may do with it, and how we treat content that belongs to others. It applies to everyone who visits the website, requests a quote, or deals with AAD Logistics PTY. The owner of our intellectual property is AAD Logistics Pty Ltd (ABN 95 667 760 607, ACN 667 760 607), trading as AAD Logistics PTY.

What we own

Unless stated otherwise, the following material is owned by us and protected by copyright, trade mark and other intellectual property laws in Australia and elsewhere.

• The AAD Logistics name and logo, and the look and feel of the website.
• All text we have written, including product descriptions, guides, policies and blog or news content.
• Photography we have produced of our stock, depot, deliveries and completed units.
• Diagrams, technical illustrations and drawings, including site access sketches, floor plans and configuration drawings prepared by us.
• The design, layout, structure and arrangement of the website, including its code where written by us.
• Quotes, proposals and custom drawings we prepare for you. These are provided for the purpose of the quote and remain our property until the related order is completed.

What we do not claim

We do not claim ownership of material that belongs to others, even where it appears on our website. This includes the following.

• Third-party trademarks, product names and brand names that appear in product descriptions, such as RAL colour references, Hörmann and REHAU. These marks belong to their owners and are used only to describe compatible or supplied components.
• ISO and other technical standards referred to in product specifications, which belong to the bodies that publish them. A reference to a standard describes the unit and is not a claim of certification unless a certificate is expressly stated.
• Shipping-line names, logos and markings visible on used containers in photographs. These belong to the shipping lines and are shown because they are on the unit.
• Customer-owned media, including site photos, plans, drawings and testimonials you send to us. These remain yours.
• Open-source software used to run the website, which is licensed under its own terms.
• Licensed images, icons and fonts, which are used under licence from their owners.

How you may use our content

You may view the website, print pages and save copies for your personal use or for the purpose of dealing with us, such as sharing a product page with a colleague or keeping a copy of a quote. You may link to pages of our website from your own website or social media, provided you do not suggest we endorse you without our agreement.

You may not, without our written permission:

• Copy, reproduce or republish our text, photographs, diagrams or design on another website, listing, catalogue or advertisement.
• Use our photographs to sell or promote containers or portable buildings that are not supplied by us.
• Use our name or logo in a way that suggests a partnership, endorsement or dealership that does not exist.
• Remove or alter copyright notices, watermarks or attribution.
• Scrape, harvest or bulk-download content from the website. See our Acceptable Website Use page.
• Create derivative works from our diagrams or technical illustrations for commercial use.

To request permission, email sales@aadlogisitcsau.com with details of the material and how you want to use it. We consider each request on its merits. Media and trade partners may request approved images and logos through the same address.

Customer media you send us

When you upload or send us site photos, plans, drawings or other material, you keep ownership of it. You give us a licence to use that material to assess your site, prepare a quote, plan delivery and fulfil your order, and to keep it with your order records. We do not publish customer media without your consent.

By sending us material, you confirm you have the right to do so and that it does not infringe anyone else’s rights. If you would like us to feature a completed project on our website or social media, we will ask for your written consent first and credit you as agreed.

Testimonials and reviews

If you provide a testimonial or review, you keep ownership of your words and give us permission to display them on our website and marketing, with your name or business name as agreed. You can withdraw that permission at any time by emailing us, and we will remove the testimonial within a reasonable time.

Reporting infringement

If you believe material on our website infringes your intellectual property, email sales@aadlogisitcsau.com with the subject “IP notice”. Include a description of the work, where it appears on our website, evidence of your ownership and your contact details. We investigate promptly and remove or amend material where a claim is substantiated.

If you find our content being used without permission elsewhere, we would appreciate a message with the location so we can act on it.
