Accessibility Statement
AAD Logistics' commitment to an accessible website, targeting WCAG 2.2 AA, and how to report accessibility issues.
Our commitment
AAD Logistics PTY wants everyone to be able to browse our products, request a quote and place an order, regardless of ability or the technology they use. We are working to make https://aadlogisitcsau.com conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. This statement describes what we have done, what we are still working on and how to tell us about a problem.
Standards we target
WCAG 2.2 AA is the international standard referenced by Australian guidance on accessible websites. Our target is conformance with all Level A and Level AA success criteria across the public website, including product pages, the quote form, the contact form, checkout and these policy pages. We review new pages and features against this target before they go live.
What we have done
- Keyboard navigation. Every menu, link, button, form field and control can be reached and operated with a keyboard alone. A visible focus indicator shows where you are on the page. A skip link at the top of each page lets you jump past the navigation to the main content.
- Reduced motion. Animations and transitions are minimal. Where they exist, they are disabled or simplified when your device’s reduced-motion setting is on. No content flashes.
- Structure and headings. Pages use a logical heading order and landmarks so screen reader users can move through content quickly. Policy pages include a table of contents built from their headings.
- Text and contrast. Text colours meet the AA contrast ratio against their backgrounds. Text can be resized to 200% without loss of content, and the layout adapts to narrow screens and high zoom.
- Images. Product and informational images carry descriptive alternative text. Decorative images are hidden from assistive technology.
- Forms. Every field has a visible label. Errors are described in text next to the field and announced to screen readers. Required fields are marked. Bot protection does not rely on a visual puzzle.
- Tables. Data tables, such as condition grades and delivery equipment, use proper header cells so the relationships are read out correctly.
- Links. Link text describes the destination rather than saying “click here”.
- Consistent navigation. Menus, footers and page layouts are consistent across the site.
Known limitations
We are honest about where we are still working. The following areas may not fully meet our target yet.
- Some older product photographs have generic alternative text. We are reviewing and rewriting these.
- Third-party embedded content, such as map tiles or analytics scripts loaded with your consent, is controlled by its provider and may not meet the same standard.
- Documents uploaded by customers, such as plans and drawings, are not modified by us and may not be accessible.
- Some PDF attachments, such as product specification sheets, may not yet be tagged for screen readers. Ask us for the information in another format.
Compatibility
The website is designed to work with current versions of major browsers on desktop and mobile, with screen readers such as those built into Windows, macOS, iOS and Android, with screen magnifiers, with speech recognition software and with keyboard-only navigation. If you use an older browser or assistive technology and something does not work, please tell us.
Getting help another way
If any part of the website is difficult to use, you can do everything by phone or email instead. Call +61 2 8310 8053 or email sales@aadlogisitcsau.com to ask about products, get a quote, place an order or receive any page in an alternative format. We can read information to you over the phone, send plain-text versions of pages and take orders without you using the website. Our hours are Monday to Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM and Saturday 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Brisbane time.
Reporting an accessibility issue
We welcome reports of accessibility barriers. Email sales@aadlogisitcsau.com with the subject “Accessibility”, or call +61 2 8310 8053. It helps if you tell us:
- The page address where you had the problem.
- What you were trying to do.
- What happened and what you expected.
- The device, browser and any assistive technology you were using.
We acknowledge reports within 2 business days and aim to fix confirmed barriers promptly. Where a fix takes longer, we tell you when to expect it and offer an alternative way to get what you need in the meantime.
How we review
We test pages with automated accessibility checkers, manual keyboard testing and screen reader checks when we build or change them. We also review reports from users. This statement is updated when significant changes are made to the website or when we resolve a known limitation.
