GST & Tax Information

How GST is applied to AAD Logistics prices, tax invoices, and how to request a GST treatment review.

Last updated 18 September 2026 · Applies to purchases from AAD Logistics PTY via aadlogisitcsau.com

Overview

AAD Logistics PTY is an Australian business. Sales of our products and delivery services are subject to Australian Goods and Services Tax (GST). This page explains how GST appears in our prices, what your tax invoice shows, and how to ask us to review the GST treatment of an order if you believe a different treatment applies. Sales are made by AAD Logistics Pty Ltd (ABN 95 667 760 607, ACN 667 760 607), trading as AAD Logistics PTY.

This page is general information about how we invoice. It is not tax advice. For advice about your own tax position, speak to your accountant or the Australian Taxation Office.

Prices include GST

All prices displayed on the website are in Australian dollars (AUD) and include 10% GST. This applies to product prices, the standard delivery charge of AUD 745 per unit, and any quoted charges unless the quote clearly states an amount is GST-exclusive. The total shown at checkout is the total amount payable.

The GST component of a GST-inclusive price is one eleventh of the price. For example, a GST-inclusive price of AUD 4,400 contains AUD 400 of GST and AUD 4,000 net of GST. Your tax invoice shows this breakdown for each line.

Tax invoices

We issue a tax invoice for every order at the time of the order confirmation. The tax invoice shows our legal name and ABN, the invoice date and number, your name or business name, a description of each product and service, the GST-exclusive amount, the GST amount and the GST-inclusive total. Where your order is AUD 1,000 or more including GST, the invoice also shows your identity or ABN as required.

If your business details are missing or wrong on the invoice, email sales@aadlogisitcsau.com with your order number and the correct details before you pay. We can reissue the invoice. We cannot change the entity named on an invoice after the order has been delivered, except to correct an error.

Claiming GST credits

If you are registered for GST and buy a unit for use in your business, you may be able to claim a GST credit for the GST included in the price. Keep your tax invoice, your order confirmation and your payment record. Whether you can claim a credit, and how much, depends on your own circumstances and the extent of business use. We cannot advise on this.

Request a GST Treatment Review

In limited cases, a sale may qualify for a GST treatment other than the standard 10% taxable supply. Examples include certain exports where the goods leave Australia within the required period, or supplies to specific bodies with a recognised exemption. If you believe your order qualifies, you can ask us to review the GST treatment before we invoice or before you pay.

How to request a review

  1. Email sales@aadlogisitcsau.com with the subject “GST Treatment Review” and your quote or order number.
  2. State the GST treatment you believe applies and why.
  3. Attach supporting documents. Depending on the claim, these may include export documentation, shipping bookings, evidence of the destination, an exemption certificate or a written statement from your accountant.
  4. We verify the request manually. We may ask for more documents or consult our own advisers.
  5. We confirm the outcome in writing. If a different treatment is approved, we issue a revised invoice.

What a review is not

A GST treatment review is never automatic and is never granted on the basis of an ABN alone. Holding an ABN, or being registered for GST, does not remove GST from a sale. It simply means you may be able to claim a credit through your own activity statement. We do not remove GST from an invoice because a customer asks, is a business, is located interstate, or intends to use the unit for a business purpose.

Where we cannot verify a claimed treatment to our satisfaction, we invoice the order as a standard taxable supply. You remain free to seek your own advice and to claim any credit you are entitled to.

Export orders

If you intend to export a unit from Australia, tell us before ordering. GST-free export treatment depends on strict conditions, including who exports the goods, the timing of the export and the evidence available. We can only consider GST-free treatment where we, or a carrier acting for us, export the unit, or where you supply documentation that satisfies the requirements. We do not provide customs or export advice.

Delivery and other charges

Delivery charges, re-delivery or futile trip charges, Sunday or public holiday surcharges and any agreed modification work are all taxable supplies and include GST. They appear as separate lines on your tax invoice with their own GST breakdown.

Record keeping

We retain transaction records, including tax invoices and payment records, for 7 years as required for tax and accounting purposes. If you need a copy of a past invoice, email sales@aadlogisitcsau.com with the order number or the approximate date and the name the order was placed under. We verify your identity before releasing copies.
